Our approach / How we work

From an idea to a place of your own.

A single piece or several rooms: the work starts with understanding what you need. We take the brief through the choices, measurements and practical details that turn it into an agreed scope.

The brief

Tell us what you have in mind.

Share the space, the way you use it and what you would like to change. References are helpful, but so are the things you already know: a favourite piece to keep, a storage problem to solve or a room that needs to feel more welcoming.

The space

Understand the space.

We identify the dimensions and site details relevant to the work. Openings, existing finishes, equipment, access and fitting conditions can all affect the proposal. Final measurements need to suit the particular item and its intended location.

The choices

Bring the choices together.

Review proportions, materials, colours and details in relation to the wider room. The proposal and quotation clarify the agreed items, specifications and fitting scope, including any decisions or related work that need resolving before proceeding.

The preparation

Make, source and coordinate.

The agreed brief guides the making or sourcing of the pieces and materials. Where several elements are involved, we discuss their sequence and the interfaces with the property or other project teams. Changes at this stage need to be reviewed for their effect on scope and timing.

The fitting

Fit, finish and review.

Delivery and installation follow the arrangements agreed for the project. We review the fitted work and finishing details with you, discuss any remaining points and share the relevant care information for the selected materials and items.

A few things you may be wondering.

Do I need a finished design before getting in touch?

No. Room photographs, an outline of what you need and a few references can start the conversation. If you already have a designer’s concept or drawings, share those too.

How long will the work take?

Timing depends on the agreed scope, materials, approvals and site readiness. Discuss any target date at the beginning so the proposed sequence and dependencies can be considered before you proceed.

Can we begin with one room or one piece?

Yes. Tell us what you want to focus on now and whether you have plans for the rest of the home. That context helps us consider how the first decisions can sit alongside future changes.

Begin where you are

The first step is a conversation.

Tell us about your space and what you want it to become. We will help identify the information and decisions needed to begin.
